Olympic football team set for Oman friendly at Turkey camp

Bahrain’s under-23 Olympic football team have stepped up their programme at their overseas training camp in Turkey, which is set to continue until August 6. The nationals are preparing for their upcoming competitions.
They have already played two friendly matches during their camp. They first defeated a local Turkish club 9-1 before beating their counterparts from Oman 3-2. The Bahrainis and Omanis are scheduled to face off one more time tonight in a second exhibition contest. The Olympic team are coached by Dario Basic from Croatia, who has named a 26-member squad for the camp.
The players include Khalifa Al Kous, Ahmed Rabia, Omar Saber, Nasser Ibrahim, Sayed Mahdi Sharaf, Hussain Abdulkarim, Sayed Jawad Haider, Salem Hussain, Ahmed Musalam, Ali Mohammed, Ammar Mirza, Hussain Haroona, Adel Al Rumaihi, Mustafa Salem, Saleh Al Zubaidi, Mohammed Faris, Bashir Fouad, Vincent Emmanuel, Hassan Issa, Ahmed Abdulhameed, Hussain Al Ekri, Hassan Abdulnabi, Abdulrahman Al Kooheji, Hassan Taha, Salman Adel and Khalil Ibrahim.
