2 Seas grab British GT pole in Brands Hatch

Bahraini-British racing team 2 Seas Motorsport captured pole position yesterday for the penultimate race of the 2022 Intelligent Money British GT Championship, to be held today at the Brands Hatch Circuit in Kent, England. The 2 Seas pairing of James Cottingham and Lewis Williamson steered their #4 Mercedes AMG-GT3 car to the leading grid position after posting a combined best lap time of two minutes 47.562 seconds in qualifying.
Their fastest in session one was 1:24.580, while their quickest in the second was 1:22.982. 2 Seas’ other squad competing in the meeting, the Sky Tempesta Racing pair of Andrew Howard and Chris Froggatt, qualified 13th amongst the 15 GT cars. Behind the wheel of their #93 Mercedes AMG-GT3 car, they finished with a combined qualifying time of 2:50.428. Set to take place ahead of today’s race is a 15-minute warm-up. The two-hour endurance challenge is then scheduled to flag off at 3.30pm, Bahrain time. Following this weekend’s events, the final round will be held on October 15 and 16 at Donington Park in Derby.
