Duaij bin Salman congratulates HH Shaikh Khalid on Eldar Eldarov’s historic win in Britain

Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Horse Care Affairs Authority has expressed his sincere congratulations to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Captain of Al Khaldiya Stable on the victory of “Eldar Eldarov” of KHK Racing in the St Leger Stakes race.

The horse, owned by HH Shaikh Khalid, won at the event that took place at Doncaster racecourse, Britain. Commenting on the important win, Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa underlined the importance of the support provided to the KHK Racing team from HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, adding that His Highness’ backing has contributed to achieving positive results in major events worldwide.

His Excellency underscored that this significant win embodies the high capabilities and abilities of Bahrain’s equestrian sport which have allowed the Kingdom to triumph abroad thanks to the interest and support of His Highness. Shaikh Duaij pointed out that this accomplishment will be a source of motivation for the team to continue on the same path and achieve further wins in international events. Finally, His Excellency commended the efforts of Jockey David Egan and trainer Roger Varian.
