Bahraini-British motor racing team 2 Seas Motorsport will field a two-car entry for the season-ending round of the 2022 Intelligent Money British GT Championship this weekend at Donington Park in the UK.

Karting graduate Aaron Walker will make his series debut alongside 2019 champion, Graham Davidson, at the wheel of 2 Seas’ Silver-Am Mercedes-AMG GT3 entry.

The pair join season regulars Lewis Williamson and James Cottingham, who are still in the fight for the championship heading to the season finale.

The two 2 Seas cars will be in action today for a pair of Free Practice sessions and Qualifying. That will then set the stage for tomorrow’s two-hour race, scheduled for a 3pm start, Bahrain time.

Heading into this weekend’s events, 2 Seas co-owner Nick Cristofaro commented: “It is great to have Aaron and Graham confirmed for the last round of the championship and, as always seems to be the case with British GT, it is shaping up to be a grandstand finish to the season.

“We have been working with Aaron all season, running in the Junior Fiesta Championship and testing across Europe, and he has really impressed us with his pace and approach to driving.

At only 16-years-old, he has shown he is mature beyond his years, and I am really pleased we are able to give him this opportunity to make his GT3 debut, in at the deep-end for the Donington Decider! “However, with Graham alongside him – a bona fide champion and former winner at Donington – I am confident the pair can deliver a strong result.

Graham has proven himself in different cars at different circuits, and brings a lot of experience, so it will be interesting to see what we can achieve in the Mercedes-AMG.”
