Victorious riders shine in national endurance rides

Victorious Team riders were at the forefront yesterday on the second day of events in the season-opening weekend of the national endurance horseracing season, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef ) at the Bahrain International Endurance Village in Zallaq.
Victorious jockey Salman Issa clinched first place in the 100km international qualifying race after completing the event in a total time of five hours 53 minutes and 15 seconds.
Victorious teammate Manal Fakhrawi came second in 5:53:20, while Othman Al Awadi finished third in 5:53:41.
Mohammed Wael, also from Victorious, came fourth in 5:55:35, while Jaber Badr from Al Zaeem was fifth in a time of six hours.
Also yesterday, an 80km qualifying race was held, and it was won by Faisal Sultan Musa from A1 Stable came first in 6:22:09.
On the first day of the weekend held on Friday, Fahad Aboud led an Eid Stable podium in winning the 40km local qualifying race in 2:38:26.
Munira Hussain came second in 2:38:27, while Faris Abdulaziz was third in 2:38:29.
