The stage is set, the weights are on point, and the fighters have looked their opponents in the eye ahead of the first leg of the epic three-part Kombat Kingdom series - BRAVE CF 63.

At the ceremonial BRAVE CF 63 weigh-ins yesterday, ten supreme international mixed martial artists took the stage to size-up their competition ahead of the world-class MMA show taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain today evening.

At the Khalifa Sports City Arena, where all the action will ignite tonight, the fighters may have remained composed, keeping all the action for the BRAVE CF cage, but you could cut the tension with a knife as the excitement in the air was at fever-pitch.

The idea of making his debut in the fastest-growing mixed martial arts promotion on the planet seemed to weigh heavy on a nervous-looking Italian, Michael Reali who still absorbed some chirps from his relaxed Pakistani opponent Abbas Khan who returns to BRAVE CF and fights in his ‘second home’ in a 77-kilogram Catchweight bout.

Ahead of their Featherweight bout and for further honors in the division, another debutant in Brazil’s Marcos Vinicius Costa was raring to go as he could not stand still in front of the dangerous Kyrgyz, Nemat Abdrashitov who zoned deep into the eyes of his opponent like a predator shifting his head from side to side maintaining contact with Costa who swayed from left to right.

Fans got a true sense of the size difference between BRAVE CF Bantamweight champion, Canada’s Brad Katona and challenger, Bahrain’s Gamzat Magomedov ahead of their five-round title fight.

After stepping off the ceremonial scale, a composed and smiling Katona was waited upon by the taller Magomedov who looked down on the champion ahead of their epic clash giving fans a wake-up call as to how tough a challenge this one will be for the champ.

The main event staredown saw the ever-confident Austrian, Ismail Naurdiev own the BRAVE CF stage with a huge smile and lifted arms before triggering the BRAVE NATION fans in attendance, while a reserved Pole Marcin Bandel stood one side.

The roar from the crowd fittingly set the tone for what is promised to be a cracking Super Welterweight title fight as Naurdiev and Bandel will throw down for the vacant 175-pound belt at BRAVE CF 63.

Following tomorrow’s event, BRAVE CF 64: African All Stars takes place this Saturday, October 22nd before the third and final leg - BRAVE CF 65 concludes the Kombat Kingdom festival next week Saturday, October 28th.
