HH Shaikh Nasser’s achievements highlighted

The website of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has highlighted in an article the unique achievements made by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, in the World Championship for Eight-YearOld Horses, which took place in Spain.

HH Shaikh Nasser secured an outstanding win in the event, which witnessed a strong lineup of 41 riders representing 20 countries.

The FEI website hailed the rich experience and skills of HH Shaikh Nasser, playing a key part in his victory in the 120km race that was held over four stages.

The article stated that HH Shaikh Nasser’s success is defined by the fact that it came in an event that showcased top riders from across the world.

The article also indicated that the race was narrowly contested and HH Shaikh Nasser, who was riding Lola De Jalima, was one minute and four seconds ahead of the runner-up.

As per the article, among the celebrated riders who took part in the event were Lucía Lateulade with the horse JM Hadamo from Uruguay and Carlos Pacheco Perez with his mount Ella De Fontaines from the host-country Spain.

The former finished second, while the latter was third.

It also mentioned Saeed Salim of the UAE among the top riders who participated.

HH Shaikh Nasser was crowned as champion after spearheading the team in the race.

This was HH Shaikh Nasser’s fourth European crown this season, having triumphed in the Royal Windsor Festival in the UK, the Monte Sino International Championship in Italy, as well as the World Endurance Championship in Šamorín, Slovakia.
