Al Hedaya issues strong warning, Bahrain School ends on high note

Al Hedaya Al Khalifia Secondary School issued a strong warning to all teams in the Nasser bin Hamad Football Tournament for Secondary Schools after breezing past Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Institute Of Technology 5-0, held as part of Group 3 in the competition at A’ali Club’s football field.
Both teams locked horns to determine the first-place winner as they had already progressed to the quarterfinals after they both defeated the other teams in the group Bahrain School and Al Naseem International School.
Al Hedaya Al Khalifia opened the floodgate in the 12th minute through Abdullah Jamal, and hat-trick hero Isa Mohammed Salem found the net twice in quick succession before the halftime break to make it 3-0.
Abdullah Jamal met a smart through ball to make it 4-0 in the 61st minute, and Mohammed Salem completed the rout with a splendid shot from the edge of the penalty area in the 67th minute.
The latter was named the best player in the game.
Meanwhile, Bahrain School defeated Al Naseem International School in a five-goal thriller to end the tournament on a high note.
Both troops were already eliminated from the tournament, but still produced their maximum efforts to win the game.
Al Naseem International School went 2-0 up in the first half through Lendo and Khalid Al Thawadi in the 7th and 18th minutes respectively.
Bahrain School pulled one back thanks to Yaseen Hisham in the 29th minute as the first half ended 2-1.
Bahrain School’s star player Lion produced an incredible performance to overturn the result in the second half, scoring two goals in the 46th minute and in the 61st minute.
He also took home the best player award.
