Kislyak to face Perelman for girls’ singles ITF title

It’s a battle of the Annas for the girls’ singles title in the third and final Bahrain event on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tennis Tour Juniors Calendar 2022, being played at the Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) courts in Isa Town.

Fifth seed Anna Perelman and sixth seed Anna Kislyak will be going head-to-head for their crown today, on the concluding day of the J4 ITF tournament.

Fourteen-year-old Kislyak booked her place in the girls’ final after upsetting top seed Lea Bathellier of France 6-4, 6-2.

Fifteen-year-old Perelman clinched her place after battling back from a set down to beat fourth seed Mille Johanna Moerk of Denmark 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.

Meanwhile, the boys’ final will be contested between top seed Dmitry Bessonov and third seed Rashed Nawaf of Qatar.

Bessonov beat Tim Vaisman of Israel 6-3, 6-4 in their semi-final clash, while Nawaf got the better of second seed Amit Shahar, also of Israel, 6-3, 6-3.
