Bahraini-British motor racing team 2 Seas Motorsport qualified both their cars in the top eight in class for today’s Gulf 12 Hours, being held at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

The endurance racing event features a full grid of 34 cars, with 2 Seas being the two-time defending champions.

But after starting off the weekend with some troubles, 2 Seas bounced back in yesterday’s qualifying to come away with their solid starting positions.

Qualifying is held over four sessions, with each crew ’s average time being counted.

The 2 Seas trio of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Martin Kodric and Hunter Abbott in the #1 Mercedes AMG-GT3 car qualified sixth in the GT3 Pro-Am class while going 14th overall.
