Vadim Kutsyi shocked BRAVE Nation fans before calling out the champion, Marcin Bandel, at BRAVE CF 68 this past weekend in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The Belarusian celebrated the perfect coming-out party when he produced a humdinger performance to stop former number-one contender Ismail Naurdiev via TKO in the first round of their Super Welterweight co-main event before addressing the champion, Bandel. “Hey, Marcin.
Where are you? I wait (for) you!,” said Kutsyi after his second BRAVE Combat Federation win.
‘’I’m very tired, there was excitement before the fight.
But I’m very happy to be here, and to win such a victory in the co-main event. I hadn an idea that today I was going to prove that odds are just numbers, and real fighters enter the cage and fight’’.
Austria’s Naurdiev gained the ascendancy early on with devastating leg attacks that hurt his opponent.
Kutsyi’s leg seemed to be compromised as he struggled to leverage off his back foot. That played in Naurdiev’s favor as he rocked Kutsyi, who then fell back against the BRAVE CF cage before launching an explosive right hook which immediately dropped Naurdiev.
Kutsyi took full advantage, reigning down a ground-andpound onslaught.
With Naurdiev unable to respond, the referee stopped the fight in the first round as Kutsyi put the entire BRAVE CF Super Welterweight division on notice.
Kutsyi - who was unranked heading into this fight - is now on a ten-fight win streak.
He is set to climb the rungs of the 175-pound division following that emphatic victory.
Poland’s Bandel beat Naurdiev in a vacant BRAVE CF Super Welterweight title fight at BRAVE CF 63.
Bandel then shot up to the throne after being ranked number three in the 175-pound division.
