Ettihad overpower Samaheej in basketball league

Al Ettihad overpowered Samaheej 96-79 last night in their week 13 game of the 2022/2023 Zain Bahrain Basketball League.
Ettihad used a dominant fourth quarter where they outscored their rivals 27-12 to finish the game strong and come away with a well-deserved result.
Ettihad led 69-67 heading into the final frame but went ahead by as many as 20 points late in the contest.
American professional Adrian Uter top scored for the winners with 29 points while grabbing 18 rebounds and dishing out seven assists, while Sayed Mohammed Hameed contributed 26 points and Ali Ghadeer had 19.
For Samaheej, Basel Adel scored 30 while Mohammed Abdulla Jaffar chipped in with 25.
Ettihad posted their eighth win in 11 games with the result, while Samaheej lost their 10th game.
League action continues tonight with defending champions Manama facing Sitra and Muharraq taking on Bahrain Club. Tomorrow, Isa Town face off with Nuwaidrat.
