BIC offers unique physical activity with Batelco Fitness on Track today evening

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) hosts Batelco Fitness on Track on Tuesday evening (Editor’s note: 27 December), offering members of the public the chance to break off a sweat amidst the chilly winter weather.
The widely popular fitness activity is scheduled to take place between 6pm and 10pm at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” in Sakhir.
Participants will have the opportunity to get in a workout either on foot or on a bicycle.
The activity can be enjoyed within BIC’s casual, safe and visually stunning environment under the circuit’s bright, stateof-the-art floodlights.
The running and cycling will take place on separate track layouts.
Runners and walkers will be utilising the 2.550-kilometre Inner Track, while cyclists will be able to ride their bikes along BIC’s 3.543-kilometre Outer circuit, with a dedicated area for children’s cycling.
As in every Batelco Fitness on Track activity, the turnout has been tremendous from the local community, with individuals and groups of all ages taking part to keep physically active.

All who register must pay upon booking.
The cost to take part is BD2 for cyclists and BD1 for runners.
Those under the age of 12 can participate for free if accompanied by a paying adult.
Batelco Fitness on Track can be done with family members and friends, making for a fun, physical activity in the unique setting of a world-class motorsport facility.
