Only two weeks remain until the biggest names in global darts descend upon the Kingdom of Bahrain to compete in the Bahrain Darts Masters 2023, set to be hosted by Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

BIC’s dome tent is set to be transformed into a darts arena inspired by the legendary Alexandra Palace in London, home of the World Championships.

The event, in partnership with Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority, marks the debut of Bahrain on the PDC World Series of Darts. It is scheduled to take place 12 and 13 January as the opening event on the world series’ 2023 calendar.

Those who are new to darts will experience an atmosphere like no other, with many describing world darts events as ‘the biggest party in sport’, with an electric atmosphere and fans embracing fancy dress.

Eight players from Bahrain and the wider Asian region will get the chance to play alongside eight of international darts’ juggernauts, such as World Champions Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld; Grand Slam of Darts champion Michael Smith; two-time World Series winner Dimitri Van den Bergh; and rising star and world number five Luke Humphries.

Bahraini darts players Bassim Mahmood and Abdulnaser Yusuf recently secured their qualification for the event, while also set to take part are legendary Singapore star Paul Lim, Japan’s Toru Suzuki and the Philippines’ Lourence Ilagan, to name a few.

Those interested in attending the two-day event are urged to buy their tickets soon as there is limited capacity. Tickets to the event start at BD25 for general admission for the two days. Premium seating is also available with hospitality options comprising a full two-day experience inclusive of food and beverages.

Complete details on ticket options and prices can be found at bahraingp.com. The tickets can be bought on the BIC website or through the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000. BIC and leading sports promoter CBX have teamed up with the PDC to bring the World Series of Darts to Bahrain, in partnership with Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority, with BIC’s Dome tent hosting the two-day darts spectacle.

The event is also supported by DSV. The Bahrain Darts Masters will be broadcast live to a TV audience reaching over 200 million people in more than 185 countries worldwide. Darts is the second most watched sport in the UK after football and is best known for the hosting of the World Darts Championship, which attracts a crowd of over 90,000 people to Alexandra Palace every year across the Christmas and New Year period.
