Endurance Village preparing for Khalid bin Hamad Endurance Cup

Under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Honorary Chairman and the patronage His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee , BREEF is holding a veterinary examination for HH Shaikh Khalid Cup for endurance races, sponsored by Tamkeen and Ascon.

BREEF completed all preparations for the veterinary examination through a series of meetings in implementation of the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser.

The village will also witness the numbering of the horses and the distribution of the numbers to the riders participating in the races on Saturday, where Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa International Cup race will be held over 160 km, 120 km international and local races, and an international and local race over 100 km, in addition to qualifying races over 80 and 40 km.

Director of the Media Office of HH Shaikh Nasser and Information Center, Chairman of the Public Relations and Media Committee of the Royal Federation and Chairman of the Marketing Committee Tawfeeq Al Salihi said the Federation worked to complete the preparations early, under the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser.
