Ettihad power past Bahrain Club

Al Ettihad powered past Bahrain Club 118-79 last night on the opening night of play in week 16 in the 2022/2023 Zain Bahrain Basketball League.
Ettihad raced out to a commanding 34-18 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back, going ahead by as many as 46 points en route to the final buzzer.
Sayed Kadhem Majed top scored for the victors with 27 points while Sayed Mohammed Hameed added 21 off the bench.
American professional Adrian Uter chipped in with a 19-point, 19-rebound double-double.
For Bahrain Club Ali Abbas scored 24 points while Xavier Gibson 19.
With the results, Ettihad improved to a 10-4 win-loss record, while Bahrain Club dropped to a 7-8 mark. League action continues tonight with Muharraq facing Isa Town at 7.30pm
