Bahraini Maram AlBaharna takes on major football analytics role

Bahraini Maram AlBaharna has joined one of the world’s leading private owners and operators of football clubs, including reigning English Premier League champions Manchester City.
Maram is working as a Football Insights Analyst at City Football Group (CFG), which has total or partial ownership of 12 clubs in major cities across the world, including Manchester City in the UK, New York City FC in the US, Melbourne FC in Australia, Yokohama F Marinos in Japan, Montevideo City Torque in Uruguay, Girona Futbol Club in Spain, Sichuan Jiuniu FC in China, Mumbai City FC in India, Lommel SK in Belgium, ESTAC in France, Palermo FC in Italy and partner Club, Club Bolivar.
“My journey in football has been an absolute ride – incredibly grateful for what’s to come and what’s in store,” Maram commented on her LinkedIn profile.
Among her key roles, Maram will produce high-quality, reliable and insightful visual analytics; scope, develop and maintain engaging tools which reduce time to insight; and educate and upskill the club’s football staff about analytics.
