Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz appointed IOC’s Gender Equality Commission member

Member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association, Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, has received a letter from the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), regarding her appointment as a member of the Gender Equality Diversity and Inclusion Commission, further confirming the status of Bahraini competencies at the international and regional level.
Shaikha Hayat expressed deepest pride in her appointment as IOC commission member, commending IOC President’s efforts to develop the work of IOC and its specialized commissions.
She affirmed that she will spare no efforts to achieve the goals of the Gender Equality Diversity and Inclusion Commission, in coordination with national Olympic committees and international sports federations.
Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa was appointed to her post in recognition of her dedicated efforts within the IOC.
