Al Mandeel, Janahi triumph in HH Shaikh Khalid showjumping

Hussain Ali Al Mandeel and Bader Janahi were both victorious yesterday in their respective contests in the HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Showjumping Championship, which took place at the Military Federation arena in Riffa.
The event was held under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and it featured wide participation and strong competition in the two juniors’ competitions.
Mandeel won the first contest featuring 90cm/100cm hurdles after clocking 28.07 seconds to comfortably outclass his competitors. Enmar Ali came second after finishing in 30.22s, while third place went to Ali Hassan who posted a time of 31.11s.
In the second competition, in which participants had to jump over 100cm/110cm hurdles, Janahi triumphed in 37.69s. Sultan Al Rumaihi of the Ministry of Interior team was second in 38.17s, while Ali Al Baqali was third after posting a time of 39.12s.
