Bahrain vs Philippines in 10th Goodwill Basketball Game 2023

Preparations are underway for the 10th Bahrain-Philippines Goodwill Basketball Game 2023, which will be held on February 16 at 7:30pm at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town.

The Pinoy Bahrain Basketball League (PBBL) officers, led by Daryl Soriano, paid a courtesy call to Charge d’ Affaires, a.i. Anne Jalando-on Louis, at the Philippine Embassy to give her a briefing about the upcoming event.

The Bahrain National Basketball Team and the PBA All-Star Legends of the Philippines will square off in this game.

As part of the celebration of the 45th year since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Bahrain this year, Soriano said that the PBBL is honoured to organise this historic basketball event of the year for the Filipino community in Bahrain.

The event will highlight the friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

The PBA All-Star Legends, according to Soriano, are made up of a select group of well-known basketball players from the Philippines, including Marc “Pinoy Sakuragi” Pingris, JJ “The Fast” Helterbrand, Cyrus “Skyrus” Baguio, Alan “The Triggerman” Caidic, Rico “Amazing” Maierhofer, Roger Yap Jr, EJ “The Gentle Giant” Feihl, John “Big John” Ferriols, Sunday “Special” Salvacion and Gherome Ejercito.
