Bahrain's own BRAVE Combat Federation has become synonymous with breaking records in the last few years, hosting events in 28 countries, something never achieved until then by any other MMA organization, aside from having the biggest market share in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. And the promotion picked up where it left off with an explosive start to 2023 at BRAVE CF 69.

The headline event of the BRAVE Serbia International Combat Week, the largest combat sports festival in Europe filled Belgrade, Serbia’s Stark Arena, to the brim after 15 000 fans showed up to witness history in the making.

The Stark Arena is one of the most modern multi-purpose indoor arenas designed as a universal hall for sports, cultural events, and other programs.

The arena has played host to some of the greatest sporting teams and entertainers over the years, and this past weekend, it was BRAVE Combat Federation's chance to thrill and entertain the European market with a magical six-fight card.

BRAVE CF 69 served up four stoppages, and a coronation ceremony as Kyrgyzstan's Abdisalam Kubanychbek earned the undisputed BRAVE CF Lightweight title after beating Kamil Magomedov via unanimous decision after a grueling five-round bout.

It was also a proud moment for Bahrain sports to see a Bahraini-born brand help take mixed martial arts in Europe to the next level, with a legion of passionate fans elated by the world-class action unfolding in front of them throughout a historic night.

BRAVE CF 69 brought the curtain down on the BRAVE Serbia International Combat Week that hosted this year’s IMMAF World Championships in the very same arena.

The World Championships were the biggest of its kind as more than 550 athletes from 62 national federations descended upon Belgrade to be recognized for honors by the most-recognized amateur MMA governing body - The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation.

Last year, BRAVE CF broke new ground as it became the first promotion to visit 28 countries after Bonn, Germany hosted BRAVE CF 61 in August.
