Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, announced yesterday that it has lined up yet another fantastic treat for race-goers attending this weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 in Sakhir.

Over the course of the three-day motor racing and entertainment spectacle, F1’s superstar drivers along with a number of select F1 team principals, former F1 stars and current F1 reserve drivers will be taking to the main stage at BIC’s vending area, located behind the Main Grandstand, to be interviewed right in front of the fans.

All those in attendance will be able to see their favourite F1 superstars up close and hear some of their thoughts for the race weekend in Bahrain, the new F1 season and so much more. Also during the interviews, a few lucky fans will get the chance to receive some signed F1 team merchandise by the drivers while they are there.

This is an all-new activity at the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and it is being held in place of the yearly autograph sessions, to give more fans a chance to engage with drivers. F1 and motorsport’s governing body the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile reviewed the times that were allocated for F1 driver and fan-engagement activities, and they have decided that driver interviews on the stage are the best way for the most fans possible to see and hear from the drivers, as opposed to smaller autograph sessions.

The interviews will be conducted on all three days, today to Sunday at different times of the day. Fans are invited to follow the timings and be at the vending area main stage on time so as not to miss seeing and hearing from their favourite F1 stars up close.
