BRAVE CF 70 is taking shape as the fifth fight on the card has been confirmed ahead of the promotion’s return trip to Slovenia on April 23, in association with leading local organization WFC.
The electric Jordanian Izzedine Al-Derbani will take on Colombia’s star player Eduardo Mora in a Bantamweight bout when BRAVE Combat Federation touches down in Ljubljana.
Both athletes were in scintillating form before hitting a few speed bumps recently. Heading into his BRAVE CF debut, Al-Derbani - a former Desert Force Featherweight interim champion - was unstoppable with five wins in five fights before coming up short against Jose “Shorty” Torres, who beat him via unanimous decision at BRAVE CF 65 last year.
Mora suffered back-to-back losses against South Africa’s Nkosi Ndebele and Hamza Kooheji, respectively. Prior to those defeats, the three-time Amateur Colombian champion was unbeaten, with five wins dating back to 2018.
Now, with their backs against the wall, they have it all to fight for as they aim to begin 2023 on a positive note and increase their stock in the BRAVE CF 135-pound division. BRAVE Combat Federation can also confirm that Ndebele’s compatriot Dansheel Moodley and Brazil’s Edilceu Alves will compete in a Flyweight fight on the same card co-promoted with the leading local organization WFC which returns to action with WFC 25 on the same night.
This will be BRAVE CF’s second trip to Slovenia after the promotion first landed in the European nation in January 2020 for BRAVE CF 34. BRAVE CF 70 will see one of Europe’s biggest stars headline the card as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Erko Jun faces Slovenia’s Marko Drmonjic in a Light Heavyweight bout.
