Muharraq, East Riffa triumph in football league

Muharraq and East Riffa were both victorious last night to wrap up week 15 in 2022/2023 Nasser bin Hamad Bahrain Premier Football League.
Muharraq scored a 2-0 win over Al Hala , While East Riffa beat Bahrain Club 4-2.
Muhammad Sulumba and an own goal by Hala’s Alain Eyenga separated the twi sides in their game.
Muharraq improved to 27 points for third place on the league standings, behind only Manama who are a point ahead and Al Khalidya on goal difference.
Hala suffered their fifth loss and stayed on 18 markers.
In East Riffa’s win, Sami Al Hussaini was on target for a brace, while Ogenyi Eddy Onazi and Yuri de Jesus Messias also scored.
They improved to 18 points but remained in the bottom half of the standings.
Jair Vinicius Alves de Brito and Hamza Al Sunhaji had the goals for Bahrain Club, who stayed second-to-last with 13 points.
