Abdulwahed, Al Hashemi triumph in endurance championship

Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Honourary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), the HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Championship took place amid wide participation.

Mohammed Al Hashemi of Al Riffa stable won the private stables’ race, while Asem Abdulwahed triumphed in the open race on the HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup, covering a distance of 120km.

HH Shaikh Nasser praised the successful displays exhibited in the championship and added that Bahraini endurance sport is heading towards accomplishing further achievements internationally.

He also hailed the sponsors and supporters of the Championship, who actively contributed towards the success of the endurance races.

The international race was won by Asem Abdulwahed, clocking 04 hours, 22 minutes and 45 seconds, followed by his teammate Jaber Bader and Mohammed Abdulhameed Al Hashemi of the Victorious team.

In the private stables’ race, Al Hashemi emerged as the winner, followed by Mohammed Al Suabei and Maude Radelet of Alasayel Stable.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa followed the race from start to end and provided valuable instructions and tips to the riders, encouraging them to double their efforts.

He crowned the winners of the Champion ship.
