Malik Abid Awan represents Bahrain Hockey at AHF Conference

Malik Abid Awan, representing Bahrain Hockey, attended the Asia Hockey Federation (AHF) conference in Korea from March 21 to 26, representing the Bahrain Olympic Committee and General Sports Authority.
During the event, Awan met with AHF President Fumio Ogura, FIH President Tayyab Ikram, Manager Ghulam Ghous, and Zahid Ali to discuss the AHF's upcoming plans.
Ogura discussed with Awan AHF's plans for 2023-2024 to follow, and in recognition of his efforts in promoting the sport in Bahrain, Ikram presented him with a shield.
Bahrain is now a member of AHF, a significant step towards promoting the game in the Gulf region.
With the approval of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Sports Authority, Awan will be responsible for the Bahrain Hockey Federation and the formation of the Bahrain Hockey National Team.
