Najma set for Dair clash for handball cup title

Al Najma and Al Dair clash tonight for the title in the 2022/2023 Bahrain Handball Association (BHA) Cup.
The game is scheduled to be played at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town with a 9.30pm throw-off.
Najma qualified for the final following a resounding 31-24 victory over Al Ahli.
They head into the tie as favourites and are gunning for their third successive title in the competition, having won the previous two editions.
Najma are also looking to secure a league-and-cup double, having already come away with the Khaled bin Hamad Bahrain Handball League crown.
Dair made it through with a 23-21 win over Al Shabab.
Set to spearhead Najma are Mohammed Habib, Mohammed Ali, Mohammed Mirza, Hassan Mirza, Bilal Basham, Ahmed Al Maqabi and goalkeeper Mohammed Abdulhussain, among others.
For Dair, they will be relying on the play of Hassan Samaheeji, Hassan Madan, Mohammed Madan and talented young goalkeeper Hesham Isa.
