New Millennium School Bahrain opens new sports arena

New Millennium School Bahrain inaugurated its new 6048 square metres of sports arena on 31st March, in a bid to bolster its sports infrastructure and offer world class sporting facilities for its students.
The new Sports area is a superb addition to the school’s existing sports facilities.
The new ground offers quality facilities for sports and athletics with the inclusion of 2 Lawn Tennis courts, 2 Volleyball courts, a Tennikoit court, a Throwball court, a Kabbadi play area, two shot put pitches, an 100mts straight running track and a vast expanse of shaded seating area for the spectators.
Ganesh Pillai, Director, Knowledge Management Group, inaugurated the new sports arena in the presence of Principal, Arun Kuumar Sharma, the Headmistresses and the members of the PE Department.
Ganesh along with Principal Arun were further escorted on a guided tour of the ground where they jelled in the spirit of the moment by joining the PE teachers in playing the different sports.
Congratulating the school Ganesh stressed on the importance of Games and Sports for students and also wished for many more accolades for the school in the field of sports.
Principal Arun Kuumar Sharma, too, accentuated on the importance of skills like team management and sportsmanship which are very important to be inculcated in the growing years of school life.
He further expressed his gratitude to School Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Geetha Pillai for their consistent support and guidance in all the endeavours of the school.
Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Geetha Pillai congratulated the Principal, staff, students and parents for this glorious addition to the school infrastructure and also wished for many more laudable achievements for the school in future.
The Chairman also reiterated his commitment to provide quality education and best available facilities and resources for the students of NMS.
