Stage set for Crown Prince's Cup volleyball semis

The semi-finals of the 2023 Crown Prince’s Cup volleyball tournament gets underway this evening with the first of two best-of-three series.

Recently crowned league champions and three-time defending winners of the tournament Dar Kulaib go up against Al Nasser in one match-up, while Al Najma take on Al Ahli in the other.

Dar Kulaib and Nasser face off in game one tonight starting at 9pm.

Game two will be held on Wednesday next week kicking off a double-header at 5.30pm, and then game three, if needed, will be on Saturday next week, slated for a 7.30pm start.

Najma take on Ahli from tomorrow at 9pm.

Game two will take place on Wednesday scheduled for a 7.30pm start.

Game three, if required, will be held Saturday at 5.30pm.

All games will be played at Isa bin Rashid Volleyball Arena at the Bahrain Volleyball Association headquarters at Isa Sports City in Riffa.

Dar Kulaib booked their berth with a 3-1 win over Busaiteen in the competition's opening round, while Nasser claimed their berth with a 3-1 victory over Muharraq.

Najma, meanwhile, beat Bani Jamra 3-0 to advance whereas Ahli beat Nabi Saleh 3-1.
