Under the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, BRAVE Combat Federation is set to take the flag of Bahrain to the highest of places in Mixed Martial Arts and uplift the Latin American combat sports scene in the same manner it did the Balkan region when the BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week is rolled out in Bogota, Colombia, between August 8 and August 12.

Governed by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) in partnership with BRAVE CF, the Colombian Association of Mixed Martial Arts (OCAMM), and in co-promotion with Latin Fighter Championship (LFC), the Pan-American Championships will kick off on August 8th with amateur athletes from North, Central, and South America, all competing for honors and rankings under the IMMAF banner.

The week-long event will then culminate with BRAVE Colombia on August 12, as some of the finest Latin and international professional mixed martial artists will showcase their skills and fight on the fastest-growing MMA platform as BRAVE CF aims to connect Colombia and surrounding nations to the world with a truly global show in Bogota.

In February, the jewel of Bahraini sports, BRAVE CF, and various stakeholders, including IMMAF, and the Serbian MMA Federation (SMMAF), helped transcend the Balkan region’s combat sports scene.

The BRAVE Serbia International Week saw more than 550 athletes from 60-plus nations descend upon Belgrade, Serbia, to compete in the IMMAF World Championships before the epic BRAVE CF 69 event blew the roof off of the sold-out Stark Arena as some of the world’s best international stars stepped into the BRAVE CF cage closing out Europe’s largest combat sports festival yet.

The event had such a positive impact on the Serbian industry that the Serbian Minister of Sports officially endorsed mixed martial arts as a sport and announced the inclusion of MMA as part of the sports development initiative of Serbia.

Later this year, BRAVE CF will aim to make the same impact in Latin America by boosting the region’s economy, galvanizing the MMA industry, and connecting the region’s talent and infrastructure to the world through BRAVE CF’s huge market share.

BRAVE Colombia will be the biggest Middle East sports media company’s third show in the Republic, following BRAVE CF 15 (Bucaramanga, 2018) and BRAVE CF 26 (Bogota, 2019). The last two events have highlighted the potential in the region as Colombia proved to be a key strategic market for the growth of BRAVE CF.

With the help of the Colombian MMA Association, the Sports Institute of Bogota, and LFC Colombia, the promotion also started a program focused on empowering the local MMA scene giving rise to some of BRAVE CF’s most exciting stars, including Road to BRAVE CF winner Eduardo Mora. Later this year, BRAVE CF aims to unearth new talent and build on its success within Colombia with the much-anticipated BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week.
