Hidd power past Bahrain Club

Hidd defeated Bahrain Club 4-1 while Al Ahli and Al Shabab played to a goal-less draw as week 20 wrapped up last night in the 2022/2023 Nasser bin Hamad Bahrain Premier Football League.
In Hidd’s win, Thiago Augusto scored a brace to help lift his team to victory. He scored his first goal in the 47th minute to give Hidd a slim lead at the break, and then supplied their fourth goal eight minutes from full time.
Isa Jehad and Mohammed Jamal also scored for Hidd in the 62nd and 67th minutes. Naji Fathi supplied the lone consolation for Bahrain Club. Hidd registered their seventh win in 20 matches and improved to 26 points, while Bahrain Club suffered their 11th loss and stayed on 15 as they are headed to relegation.
In yesterday’s other match, Ahli posted their eighth draw to go to 29 points while Shabab had only their fourth to improve to 25. Only two matches remain for all 12 league clubs.
