HH Shaikh Nasser hails Ibn Khuldoon National School’s victory at the Mediterranean Cup Championship

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, has congratulated the Ibn Khuldoon National School’s U14 football team following its deserved victory in its category at the premiere league of the Mediterranean Cup Championship, held in Verona, Italy.

The competition witnessed the participation of international schools, and the Ibn Khuldoon National School’s team emerged as deserved winners in the highly-contested Championship which featured 38 boys’ teams and 28 girls’ teams representing schools from 15 different countries.

Dr Kamal Abdulnoor, Ibn Khuldoon National School President, expressed his utmost appreciation and gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for His Highness’ close follow-up to the achievements accomplished by the Bahraini youth in all fields.

Dr Abdulnoor pointed out that the Ibn Khuldoon National School’s team played 11 matches, in which they found the net on 19 occasions.

They were contributed by the team captain Mustafa Al Suwaidi (4 goals), Khalid Al Khajah (3 goals), Saif Al Jowder (2 goals) and Mohammed Al Mohri (2 goals).

The team was coached by Zaher Abi Al Mona.
