Bahrain sign futsal national team head coach

Bahrain have signed Brazilian Rafael Fogageiro as head coach of the Kingdom’s senior men’s national futsal team.
This was announced yesterday by the Bahrain Football Association (BFA) after Fogageiro officially signed his contract in the presence of BFA board member and futsal and beach soccer committees head Aref Al Mannai.
The 42-year-old tactician has about 20 years’ experience in leading several futsal clubs in his home country and elsewhere.
The length of his deal was undisclosed. Al Mannai welcomed Fogageiro and wished him success in his mission with Bahrain.
The BFA has appointed Ahmed Al Kooheji as his assistant coach, with Mohammed Al Ghunaim the team’s director and Abdulrahman Al Siddiqi as administrator.
