The Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) has announced the competition calendar for the upcoming 2023/2024 season, featuring motorsport action in karting, drag racing, circuit racing, drifting and autocross.

The new campaign is scheduled to get underway in September later this year and continue until April of 2024.

All the action will take place at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir, “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

Getting the season underway will be the Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge (BRMC), which will feature eight rounds.

The opening event will be held on September 28, followed by meetings on October 10, December 15, January 12, January 26, February 9 and February 23.

The championship finale will then take place on March 8.

Also in karting, the Sakhir Rotax MAX Challenge will be held, consisting of four rounds on a pair of back-to-back weekends on October 20 and 21 and then again on October 27 and 28.

The karting campaign will also see endurance karting action, to be held over four rounds.

The first three meetings will be two-hour races on November 10, November 17 and November 24.

A 24-hour challenge will then take place on January 5 and 6 as the pinnacle of the endurance action.

The karting will be held at BIC’s premier grassroots motorsport facility, Bahrain International Karting Circuit.

Drag racing will once again be one of the top draws of the season and five rounds will feature at BIC’s world-class quarter-mile drag strip.

The championship opener will take place December 5 to 8, with round two set for January 9 to 12.

Round three will be from January 30 to February 2, followed by the fourth and penultimate round from February 6 to 9.

The season’s fifth and final event on the strip will then take place February 27 to March 1.

The circuit racing calendar will feature action for competitors on two wheels and four.

Being held as part of the National Races at BIC, their season will take place over seven rounds.

A test day will take place on October 27, after which round one will be held on November 17.

The ensuing meetings are scheduled for December 1, January 19, February 16, March 2, March 15 and the curtain-closing round on April 19.

The drifting championship will comprise four rounds, to be held December 15, February 23, March 8 and March 22.

Bahrain’s autocross events will see five meetings at BIC. The action will kick off on December 12, while the second round will take place January 26.

Rounds three and four will be held February 2 and March 15, while the last autocross event will take place March 29.
