Ettihad aim to close out league semi-final against Muharraq

Al Ettihad will be looking to close out their Golden Square semi-final series against Muharraq tonight in the 2022/2023 Zain Bahrain Basketball League.

Ettihad won game one of their best-of-three match-up 96-82 and will be hoping for a repeat performance.

Tonight’s clash is scheduled for a 7pm tip-off at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town.

Muharraq will be hoping to extend their head-to-head to a decisive third game.

If needed, that rubber match will be held on Saturday.

The league’s other Golden Square clash will be between heated rivals Manama and Al Ahli.

Manama are the league’s defending champions and will have to go through their longtime nemesis in their hopes to retain their crown.

Game one is scheduled for tomorrow, after which game two will be held on May 25.

Game three, if needed, will take place May 28.

Manama has already eliminated Ahli from the Khalifa bin Salman Cup, and will be hoping to do the same in the league.

Manama will face Muharraq in the Khalifa bin Salman Cup final, which has yet to be scheduled by the Bahrain Basketball Association.
