Bapco is WEC race sponsor
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced yesterday its official partner, Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), has signed as title sponsor for the upcoming FIA WEC 6 Hours of Bahrain taking place on Friday and Saturday.
The Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain in Sakhir is the eighth and final round of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). In view of this, BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa was joined by Bapco at a signing ceremony to formalise the sponsorship and said, “We thank Bapco for signing as title sponsors of this year’s FIA WEC 6 Hours of Bahrain.”
As one of our existing official Circuit partners, Bapco has always been a great supporter of our events here at the BIC,” he added.
In this regard, Bapco Marketing GM Khalid Buhazza weighed in, “Bapco is proud to be a continued supporter of key events and activities of BIC and our sponsorship is a commitment towards fostering the Kingdom’s sporting sector, and as part of our national and regional reputation as a forerunner on the energy scene and wish the organisers in the success of the event.”
