Al Hilal win in KCA volleyball
Al Hilal came from a set down to defeat Nandanam Bahrain 3-1 (22- 25, 25-22, 25-12, 25-21) after the fourth day of action in the Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) Zayani Motors International Volleyball Tournament at its premises in Segaiya.
In another match played, Arabco Saudi defeated Nepali Club in straight sets 3-0 (25- 17, 25-16, 25-16)
A total of eight teams are in the fray involving teams and associations from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Dubai and national and international players from India.
Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the finalists along with individual awards. Teams are divided into two groups of four playing a round-robin format with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the semifinals on November 25 and 26. The winners will meet in the final on November 27.
Today’s match (7.30pm): Al Osra Restaurant vs Nandanam Bahrain.
