Al Hassan to head Bahrain delegation at Arab Games

Bahrain Maritime Sports Association vice-president Noman Al Hassan was yesterday confirmed to have been appointed as director of the Kingdom’s delegation participating at this year’s Arab Games, which are scheduled to take place in Algeria from July 5 to 15.
This was announced by the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), headed by Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman and General Sports Authority president His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Al Hassan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid for his confidence in entrusting him the role of director, which he said is a source of pride and motivation.
Al Hassan said that he will perform his duties to the best of his abilities and coordinate and cooperate with Bahrain’s sports federations to make their participation at the Arab Games a success.
It has yet to be revealed the number of sports and athletes that will be flying the Kingdom’s flag at the event.
