Bahrain 1 team leading in NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series

His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Personal Representative, hailed Bahrain 1 team’s latest victory and maintained the lead in the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.
Team drivers Justin Bond and Chris Thorne are currently ranking first and second. HH Shaikh Abdullah, the owner of Bahrain 1 team, attributed the outstanding results of the team, to the generous patronage and unlimited support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and encouragement of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the support and sponsorship of the national companies, Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), Batelco and the National Bank of Bahrain.
HH said that the team’s position in the current world championship competitions is raising the name of the Kingdom of Bahrain in one of the most powerful races in the world. HH Shaikh Abdullah added that the team’s results demonstrated its determination to regain the title of the world championship, through the crew and driver’s efforts and hard work. The team professional performance enabled it to clinch the world titles twice in a row, in 2019 and 2020, HH Shaikh Abdullah said, wishing the team success in grabbing its third title this year.
Bahrain 1’s team current competing members are Justin Bond, Chris Thorne and Khalid Al Balooshi. Bond finished first in the fourth round of NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series in New England. Thorne came first in the fifth round held in Bristol. The team has so far won four out of five rounds.
