Super Lightweight Mahmoud Sebie put on yet another clinic as he picked up his third BRAVE CF victory and this time by submission, the first time he made an opponent tap in his pro career.
The first Olympian in BRAVE CF history was one of many stars that shone on BRAVE CF 71, which took place in Bahrain, last Monday, June 19.
Before the fight, Sebie was hailed by BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid, who said he had the potential to lead the next wave of Arab fighters, and could do well, with Shahid going as far as saying Mahmoud could take Arabs MMA through mainstream showbiz, if he was so inclined.
On Monday night, however, Sebie showed why he reigns supreme on the BRAVE CF roster by once again dominating his opponent, but also showcasing a new face to his MMA game – that of a submission artist.
During a short scramble with Oussema Zeidi, he ended up picking his Tunisian opponent’s back and locking in a rear-naked choke.
After the referee separated both men, it was clear to see how lethal Sebie’s ground and pound power actually is, as Zeidi was spotting a huge hematoma.
‘’No one was coming here and beating me on the eve of my birthday.
I trained too hard and sacrificed too much for this. No one is beating me, I’m sorry, it’s just what it is’’, said Sebie, who also called out Joilton Lutter bach once again.
‘’Joilton, I love you, ‘’bro’’. Hope you make weight so you don’t have to cut your hair! But in this cage, there’s only me!’’.
