Rasul Magomedov’s professional debut is finally here. One of the higher-level wrestlers to ever make the transition to mixed martial arts, Rasul will look to kick off his pro career the same way he has flown by his amateur career: with a devastating victory.

Undefeated as an amateur, with a record of 13 wins and no losses, Magomedov is a two-time IMMAF world champion, and made a clean sweep of all IMMAF competitions in 2021 – World Cup, World Championship, and European Championships.

BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid spoke of his excitement at finally welcoming Rasul to the pro ranks, and celebrated being able to put together a card of different standouts in other combat sports.

‘’This fight card has so many great stories. We’re talking about legends of other sports competing, like five-time wushu sanda world champion Mohsen Mohammedseifi.

But we have to talk about Rasul Magomedov. Yes, he’s making his professional debut.

But he has monumental competition experience. He is a two-time IMMAF amateur world champion, he’s the number one Heavyweight in IMMAF.

And to know that, before that, he achieved even greater heights, by beating Kyle Snyder, you can’t help but be excited at this kid’’, said Mohammed Shahid, who also broke down why Rasul is a scary proposition for any Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight on the planet right now.

‘’He doesn’t even move like a Heavyweight or a Light Heavyweight.

The bigger guys have certain limitations to how they can move, to how they fight – he doesn’t have those.

His wrestling, the fact that he beat Kyle Snyder, tells you everything you need to know’’. BRAVE CF 72 takes place at the National Stadium, in Riffa, Bahrain, on June 23, and is headlined by a world title fight, as champion Roman Bogatov.
