Bahrain Team Victorious’ Salman Isa impresses in France ride

Team Victorious rider Salman Isa claimed a fantastic second-place finish in the 120-kilometre Compiegne International Endurance Race, which was held in France.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, praised Team Victorious’ achievement, pointing out that this good result reflects the team’s continued strong presence in European championships and tournaments.

His Highness stated that the Compiegne International Endurance Race is considered one of the strong races on the European arena and enjoys wide participation from the world’s riders, as it is characterised by the strength and competitiveness of the participants.

Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser expressed his appreciation for the good efforts made by the technical and administrative staff of Team Victorious and the riders’ keenness to achieve positive results in European forums, pointing out that the presence of the team on the podium is a clear indication of their determination, while at the same time, His Highness congratulated the Team and rider Salman Isa for winning second place.

It is worth noting that Isa was able to win the second spot in the Compiegne International Race which covered a distance of 120km, following strong and exciting competition with the participating riders.

Isa narrowly finished behind French rider Aurelie Develay, who won, while Kuwaiti rider Yaqoub Al Anzi came in third place.

Riders Elisabeth Hardy from Belgium, Sabrina Arnold from Germany and Shaikh Abdullah bin Faisal Al Qasimi from the United Arab Emirates, came in fourth, fifth and sixth places, respectively. The seventh, eighth and ninth positions were respectively won by riders Guillaume Dolci, Paul and Poncela Julie from France.

Isa confirmed that the presence of Team Victorious on the podium and winning the second position in one of the strongest European races reflects the support, follow-up and interest that the team receives from HH Shaikh Nasser, Captain of the Team, adding that this triumph is a fruit of His Highness’s support.
