Nemat Abdrashitov is the new hero of Kyrgyz MMA. After capturing BRAVE Combat Federation’s Featherweight world title with a courageous performance at BRAVE CF 72, last Friday, ‘’Eagle’’ earned a hero’s welcome upon his return to his nation’s capital in Bishkek.

The red carpet was rolled out for the champion, as Nemat was received by fans, friends, and family, and instantly put into traditional clothing to celebrate a momentous victory for himself, his team, and all of the sport in Kyrgyzstan.

By beating Roman Bogatov, Nemat Abdrashitov became the second current world champion under the most global MMA organization, cemented himself as a top 145-pounder in the world, and helped to definitively put Kyrgyzstan on the world map of mixed martial arts.

Now, Kyrgyzstan has two world champions, with Nemat’s teammate Abdisalam Uulu Kubanychbek holding Lightweight gold under the BRAVE CF banner as the prospects of a return to Bishkek by the fastest-growing organization in MMA intensify. BRAVE CF is, thus far, the only global organization to host an event in Kyrgyzstan.

Back in 2019, BRAVE CF 32 took place in association with WEF. It was at that event that Kubanychbek was scouted and signed to a long-term deal, eventually opening up the doors for the likes of Nemat Abdrashitov to come through and shine more light on Kyrgyz MMA worldwide.
