HH Shaikh Isa meets volleyball teams

Cabinet Affairs Ministry undersecretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) vice-president His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa visited the training sessions of Bahrain’s senior men’s and junior men’s national volleyball teams ahead of their tournaments starting at the end of this week.

The senior men’s team will be taking part in the fourth AVC Men Challenger from Saturday to July 15 in Chinese-Taipei, while the juniors will be hosts of the FIVB Men’s U21 World Championship 2023 from Friday.

Upon arrival at the Isa bin Rashid Volleyball Hall, HH Shaikh Isa was welcomed by Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA) president Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and members of the board.

HH Shaikh Isa watched the training of the two national teams and conveyed to them greetings and wishes for success from Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy president, General Sports Authority chairman and BOC chief His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

HH Shaikh Isa encouraged the teams and stressed to them the importance of honourable representation of the Kingdom at the two major competitions.
