Bahrain’s Tumooh Ole Academy win double

Bahrain’s Tumooh Ole Academy won the under-12 and under-14 titles in the Quattro Gulf Academies Championship 2023, held in Ajman, UAE. The Bahraini teams dominated the tournament, clinching their respective titles for the third consecutive time. They reached their finals and defeated the Argentine Academy teams 3-0 and 2-1 in the two age groups.
The Bahrain teams thus achieved a historic double in the competition, which was being held in its sixth edition. The Bahraini teams were honoured in the closing and awarding ceremony, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department.
Also in attendance were Ahmed Al Raissi, Chairman of the Organising Committee; Abdulaziz Abdullah, General Supervisor of the Championship; and Abdullah Al Bakr, representative of the Ajman Tourism Development Department.
The tournament started in 2016 with the participation of six teams. This season, 14 teams took part from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Iraq.
