Bahrain tennis officials attend Wimbledon matches

Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) president Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa and Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) chairman Khamis Al Muqla were among tennis officials from a number of Arab countries to attend this year’s Wimbledon Championships in the UK.
Shaikh Abdulaziz and Al Muqla were keen to attend the tournament’s matches and the women’s and men’s finals, and to meet with a number of heads of Arab tennis federations.
They discussed ways to improve the sport in the Arab world in order to keep pace with the great development in international tennis.
They also spoke about ways of cooperation, exchange of experiences, and visits. Among the other attendees were officials from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, the UAE, Qatar and Jordan.
