BRAVE Nation fans are in for a treat next week as two world-class finishers will throw down at BRAVE CF 73. In a late change, Brazil’s kickboxing sensation Luiz Cado will now face compatriot and devastating finisher Willker Lemos in a Super Welterweight bout on the main card of BRAVE CF 73 on August 12 in Bogota, Colombia.

Cado had originally signed to face Panama’s global star Vernon Ramos, but the Panamanian was forced to withdraw due to medical reasons. With just two weeks to Colombia’s third BRAVE CF event, BRAVE CF Athlete Relations and matchmakers did an excellent job in finding a worthy opponent capable of honouring the magnitude of this fight card that will conclude the Pan-American Combat Week running from August 10 to August 13.

Cado, aka ‘Golden Boy’ set tongues wagging in his BRAVE CF debut with a third-round knockout of Luis Felipe Dias at BRAVE CF 60 last year. With eleven finishes, including eight KO/TKOs and three submissions, ‘Golden Boy’ is not one for working overtime.

The taste of success on a global platform left Cado hungry for more, and he will continue on his quest to become a world champion when he returns to the BRAVE CF cage in what will be the largest mixed martial arts event in Colombia.

In front of him will stand an athlete equally as dangerous. With six rear-naked choke stoppages and three KO/TKOs, Willker ‘Feijao’ Lemos is a submission specialist with power in his hands. ‘Feijao’ is currently unbeaten since 2021, with his last victory seeing him hand the highly-respected Brazilian Rodrigo Sezinando his first professional loss via a unanimous decision.

BRAVE CF 73 takes place at the Coliseo El Salitre, in the Colombian capital. The main event of the evening will see a new Bantamweight world champion as Jose “Shorty” Torres and Nkosi “The Future” Ndebele compete for the vacant belt.
