Mohoric keeps overall lead in Tour de Pologne

Team Bahrain Victorious rider Matej Mohoric retained the yellow jersey yesterday after stage four of the Tour de Pologne 2023, part of this year’s UCI World Tour.
Mohoric kept the overall lead in the race’s general classification despite placing 40th in yesterday’s 198.6-kilometre leg.
Matevz Govekar was Bahrain Victorious’ best in 13th following a bunch sprint to the finish. Amongst their other teammates, Andrea Pasqualon was 47th, Antonio Tiberi came 80th, Fran Miholjevic and Damiano Caruso were 97th and 98th, respectively, and Kamil Gradek came 153rd.
Mohoric’s lead was reduced to 10 seconds from Joao Almeida and Rafal Majka, both from UAE Team Emirates. The seven-stage tour continues today with the fifth leg, to be held over 198.8km.
