Bahrain Olympic team outclass Thai counterparts in friendly

Bahrain’s under-23 Olympic football team outclassed their counterparts from Thailand 2-0 in a friendly match played as part of the Bahrainis’ ongoing overseas training camp in Bangkok.
Abdulla Al Subaie and Salem Al Dosari were both on target for the nationals.
The match was Bahrain’s sixth friendly during their camp and second against an opposing national Olympic team. The other was against Kuwait, which they had drawn.
The Bahrainis had also played four other exhibition games against local Thai clubs.
According to the Bahrain Football Association, the Olympic team will next face their counterparts from Vietnam on Tuesday.
Coached by Dario Basic of Croatia, the under-23s are currently in their camp preparing for their upcoming qualifiers for the 2024 AFC U23 Asian Cup, scheduled to take place next month.
Bahrain’s group matches in the qualifiers are set to be held in the Kingdom.
They are in Group D with Japan, Palestine and Pakistan. Alsubaie and Al Dosary are part of a 28-player squad in Bangkok.
The others are Mustafa Al Salem, Omar Saber, Hussein Harouneh, Hussein Abdulkarim, Abdulla Freih, Ahmed Dia, Abdulrahman Al Obaidly, Adel Al Rumaihi, Saleh Al Zubaidi, Mubarak Mohammed, Abdulla Al Khalasi, Salman Abdulla, Mohammed Abdul Qayyum, Ahmed Kamel, Khalifa Al Lafi, Salman Adel, Khalil Ebrahim, Ahmed Musalam, Hassan Issa, Ali Mohammed Redha, Ahmed Abdulhameed, Hussein Al Aker, Hassan Abdulnabi, Yasseen Karim, Salem Hussein and Sayed Jawad Haider.
