Bahrain fighters enter IMMA second round
Bahrain has three fighters in the second round of the International Mixed Martial Arts (IMMA) Championships European Open Amateur Championships at the Performance Hub, University of Wolverhampton, Walsall UK.
The Khalid Hamad Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts Team (KHK MMA) saw Hussein Ayad in the 57kg category defeated Finland’s Saku Ronkainen in the first round and join compatriots Abdulla Seena in the 61kg and Ali Ebrahimi in the 70kg who both received first round byes.
Isa Al Amiri in the 66kg category lost out to Northern Ireland’s Ciaran Breslin in the first round along with Ahmed Al Kaabi in the 84kg category against Norwegian Adrian Jahri.
The team are coached by Redha Monfaradi and Eldar Eldarov and the championship which features 174 fighters in various categories from 22 countries concludes on Sunday.

Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa met with International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) Chief Executive, Densign White on the sidelines of the championship.
